The interior is like a typical fast food joint that you will see everywhere in European countries
On your table, you’ll find soy sauce, Thai chili, and Chinese mala chili, so you can jazz up your food. We had ordered its Hot and Sour Soup. My mum and brother had ordered its Fried Rice with Chicken while I had opt for its Kung Pau Chicken with a White Rice
The Hot and Sour Soup is a warm and comforting appetizer, especially on a cold day. It’s typically a flavorful and spicy broth with a balance of tanginess and heat. Inside, you might find ingredients like tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and sometimes pork or chicken, all swimming in this delightful soup.
Their bowl of fried rice portion were big but my mum manage to finish all of it. This dish features a heaping serving of fried rice, typically stir-fried with a mix of ingredients like chicken, scrambled eggs, vegetables (such as carrots and peas), and seasonings. The rice grains are wonderfully coated in savory flavors, and it’s a satisfying, well-rounded meal.
Kung Pao Chicken is a classic Chinese dish known for its combination of tender chicken pieces, crunchy peanuts, and a flavorful sauce. The sauce usually boasts a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a hint of spiciness. Served with a side of plain white rice, it creates a harmonious and satisfying meal. While my Kung Pau Chicken were averagely tasted, its chicken we tender comes to our surprise.
So, if you’re looking for a tasty, affordable Asian meal in a no-fuss setting, give Wokup a try. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s great when you want good Asian food without splurging.
