Taeki Chan After the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung has made the Galaxy Z Flip 5 even better. They turned a stylish foldable phone into one that’s really useful, with better cameras and battery life. Recently, Samsung released new foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is the star of the show. It’s got some big upgrades, and we’re here to share our first thoughts on it.
The Design. The design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 hasn’t changed much. It’s still waterproof and weighs the same (187g). But when you fold it, it’s slimmer by 2mm, thanks to a new hinge. This hinge is tougher against drops and impacts, and it makes the phone close better, reducing the line on the screen.
The Screen. The buttons and layout on the Z Flip 5 are pretty much like the Z Flip 4. There’s a fingerprint scanner and volume buttons. The phone folds really flat.
The outside has a bigger screen that’s hidden under the glass. It’s a 3.4-inch screen with nice colors. The big screen inside is still the same as before, a 6.7-inch one with bright colors and smooth motion.
The Camera. The Z Flip 5’s camera is like the one on the Z Flip 4. There’s a main camera with 12 megapixels, and another one for wide shots. The selfie camera on the big screen is also the same, but it might work a bit better in the dark.
The Software. The Z Flip 5 has a special computer chip inside that makes it work well. It has new software that’s good for the outside screen. This screen is bigger now and does more things.
The Battery. The battery is the same as before, with regular and wireless charging.

Our Thoughts. Overall, we thinks the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is really cool. It’s like a piece of advanced technology that looks great and works well. You can choose one with more memory, and the price seems fair, especially if you pre-order it early.
